31st May is World Tobacco Day:
• On May 31, the World Health Organization (WHO) celebrated World No Tobacco Day (WNTD).
• The annual celebration targets increase awareness of the harmful and deadly effects of tobacco use and secondhand smoke exposure and also prevents the opportunity to use tobacco in any form.
மே 31 உலக புகையிலை தினம்:
• மே 31 அன்று, உலக சுகாதார அமைப்பு (WHO) உலக புகையிலை இல்லாத தினத்தை (WNTD) கொண்டாடினர்.

B.V.R. Subrahmanyam newly Appointed as Commerce Secretary:
• Recently, The Cabinet Appointment Committee (ACC) has accepted the appointment of B.V.R. Subrahmanyam, Chief Secretary Jammu & Kashmir, to hold unique positions in the Ministry of Commerce.
• This was an order by the Union Ministry of Personnel, Public Appeals, and Retirement.

1st Anniversary of National AI Portal:
• The National Artificial Intelligence Portal celebrated its first anniversary on May 28.
• This portal mainly aims to become a trusted content powerhouse in the context of India’s move towards a global leader in Artificial Intelligence.
தேசிய AI போர்ட்டலின் 1 வது ஆண்டுவிழா:
• தேசிய செயற்கை நுண்ணறிவு போர்டல் அதன் முதல் ஆண்டு விழாவை மே 28 அன்று கொண்டாடியது.
• செயற்கை நுண்ணறிவில் உலகளாவிய தலைவரை நோக்கி இந்தியாவின் நகர்வின் பின்னணியில் இந்த போர்டல் முக்கியமாக நம்பகமான உள்ளடக்க சக்தியாக மாறுவதை நோக்கமாகக் கொண்டுள்ளது.
PM-CARES for Children Scheme launched:
• The PM-CARES for Children Scheme has been initiated to help and empower Covid-affected children.
• The ‘PM-CARES for Children’ scheme will provide help to all children who have lost both parents, a surviving parent, or a legal guardian/adoptive parents as a reason of Covid-19.
குழந்தைகளுக்கான PM-CARES திட்டம் தொடங்கப்பட்டது:
• கோவிட் பாதிக்கப்பட்ட குழந்தைகளுக்கு உதவுவதற்கும் மேம்படுத்துவதற்கும் குழந்தைகளுக்கான PM-CARES திட்டம் தொடங்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.
• கோவிட் -19 இன் காரணமாக பெற்றோர், உயிர் பிழைத்த பெற்றோர் அல்லது சட்டப்பூர்வ பாதுகாவலர் / வளர்ப்பு பெற்றோர் இருவரையும் இழந்த அனைத்து குழந்தைகளுக்கும் ‘பி.எம்-கேர்ஸ் ஃபார் சில்ட்ரன்’ திட்டம் உதவும்.
Goa launched new solar-based electrification programme:
• On the occasion of Goa Statehood Day (May 30), Chief Minister of Goa, Pramod Sawant, launched a solar-based electrification program for rural households of the state.
• It was started two days after the agreement was signed between Convergence Energy Services Ltd (CESL) and Goa Energy Development Agency (GEDA).
கோவா புதிய சூரிய அடிப்படையிலான மின்மயமாக்கல் திட்டத்தை அறிமுகப்படுத்தியது:
• கோவா மாநில தினத்தை முன்னிட்டு (மே 30), கோவாவின் முதல்வர் பிரமோத் சாவந்த், கிராமப்புற வீடுகளுக்கு சூரிய அடிப்படையிலான மின்மயமாக்கல் திட்டத்தை தொடங்கினார்.
• கன்வெர்ஜென்ஸ் எனர்ஜி சர்வீசஸ் லிமிடெட் (சிஇஎஸ்எல்) மற்றும் கோவா எரிசக்தி மேம்பாட்டு நிறுவனம் (கெடா) இடையே ஒப்பந்தம் கையெழுத்திடப்பட்ட இரண்டு நாட்களுக்குப் பிறகு இது தொடங்கப்பட்டது.
Initiated Four new National Helpline Number:
• Union Ministry of Information and Broadcasting has initiated four new helpline numbers to assist people amid the second wave of covid-19.
• 1075 – National Helpline no. of Ministry of Health & Family Welfare,
• 1098 – Child Helpline no. of Ministry of Women & Child Development,
• 14566 – Senior Citizens Helpline of Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment.
• 08046110007 – National Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences (NIMHANS) that will provide psychological support.
நான்கு புதிய தேசிய உதவி எண் தொடங்கப்பட்டது:
• கோவிட் -19 இன் இரண்டாவது அலைக்கு மத்தியில் மக்களுக்கு உதவ மத்திய தகவல் மற்றும் ஒளிபரப்பு அமைச்சகம் நான்கு புதிய ஹெல்ப்லைன் எண்களைத் தொடங்கியுள்ளது.
• 1075 – தேசிய ஹெல்ப்லைன் எண். சுகாதார மற்றும் குடும்ப நல அமைச்சகம்,
