29th April is International dance day:
• Dance Day is celebrated on 29 April worldwide.
• It is also considered World Dance Day.
• This day improves art and culture, improves cognizance amongst the public involving the “art of dance”.

• ஏப்ரல் 29 அன்று உலகளவில் நடன நாள் கொண்டாடப்படுகிறது.

Parasol project:
• In Chennai, The foundation stone for the combined Solar Dryer and Pyrolysis pilot plant was laid.
• The pilot is one of the parts of the Indo-German challenge ‘Pyrasol’. It was launched to transform urban natural waste into biochar and energy in popular cities.
• It used to be assigned for CSIR-CLRI with the support of the Indo-German Science and Technology Centre.

Large Area Certification Scheme in Andaman and Nicobar:
- 14,491 region of UT of Andaman and Nicobar Islands has come to be the 1st large contiguous region to be conferred with certification for organic beneath the ‘Large Area Certification’ scheme.

The UK to allow Driverless cars:
• The United Kingdom has become the first country to launch regulations for the use of low-speed self-driving vehicles.
• The UK Government has been working on the Highway Code for the usage of self-driving vehicles.
• The Ministry of Transport is, to also start with, Automated Lane Keeping Systems (ALKS).

• It has been named as the “A Global Strategy to leave No One Behind”.
• It promotes maximizing the lifesaving impact of vaccines.
• The Immunization Agenda 2030 was started during the World Immunization Week.

Supply Chain Resilience Initiative started:
• On April 27, 2021, India, Australia, and Japan started the Supply Chain Resilience Initiative.
• This startup was launched to counter the superiority of China in the Global Supply Chain.
• It mainly aims to prevent disturbances in the supply chain as seen during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Agriculture Infrastructure Fund overcome Rs. 8,000 crores:
• Recently, The Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare has declared that the Agriculture Infrastructure Fund recently crossed Rs 8,000 crore mark.
• The Ministry has received 8,665 applications so far.
• The worth of these applications has estimated to Rs 8, 216 crores.
• In this, Rs 4, 000 crores have been sanctioned by the Ministry so far.
வேளாண் உள்கட்டமைப்பு நிதி ரூ. 8,000 கோடி:
• அண்மையில், வேளாண் உள்கட்டமைப்பு நிதியம் ரூ .8,000 கோடியை தாண்டியதாக வேளாண் மற்றும் உழவர் நல அமைச்சகம் அறிவித்துள்ளது.

India’s first 3D printed house:
• The Union Finance Minister Smt Nirmala Sitaraman has opened the first 3D printed house at IIT Madras.
• The House was build using indigenous 3D printing technology.
• It has time taken to built in just five days.
• It was constructed by TVASTA Manufacturing solutions by former IIT-M students.

• ஐ.ஐ.டி மெட்ராஸில் முதல் 3 டி அச்சிடப்பட்ட வீட்டை மத்திய நிதி அமைச்சர் திருமதி நிர்மலா சீதாராமன் திறந்து வைத்துள்ளார்.
• உள்நாட்டு 3D அச்சிடும் தொழில்நுட்பத்தைப் பயன்படுத்தி இந்த மாளிகை கட்டப்பட்டது.
• இது வெறும் ஐந்து நாட்களில் கட்டப்படுவதற்கு நேரம் எடுத்துள்ளது.
