• Globally, World Hunger Day is celebrated every May 28th.
• The main goal of this day is to increase awareness of more than 820 million chronically hungry people worldwide.

• From 1971 to 2019, When compared to 1 degree Celsius for the rest of the world, the Arctic’s average annual temperature increased by 3.1 degrees Celsius.

• TDB National Award 2021 was provided to a Bangalore start-up for its carbon recycling technology.
• The award was given to the start-up mainly to create a commercial solution for converting CO2 to chemicals and fuels.
