‘One Health’ panel created to advise on Animal Disease Risks:
• World Health Organization set up a team of experts along with three other international bodies who will help in developing a global plan on preventing the spread of diseases from animals to humans.
• The first meeting is held on May 2021 but it was initiated launched by France and Germany in 2020.
• World Health Organization tied with these three international organizations namely, World Organization for Animal Health, Food & Agriculture Organization, and United Nations Environment Programme on developing.
விலங்கு நோய் அபாயங்கள் குறித்து ஆலோசனை வழங்க ‘ஒரு உடல்நலம்’ குழு உருவாக்கப்பட்டது:

NASA recently released ‘New Earth System Observatory’
• The new Earth System Observatory is helping in mitigating climate change, forest fires, and hurricanes. It also supports real-time agriculture.
• The observatory is mainly for study the clouds & weather, aerosols, water supply, and surface & ecosystems of Earth.
• It has two different radar systems bought by NASA in collaboration with the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO). Changes in the surface of Earth are measured by radar systems.

‘African Violet plants’ found in Mizoram which is endangered:
• A unit of IISER was found these plants under Tropical Ecology and Evolution Lab.
• It is found in only three locations currently in Mizoram and it is considered an endangered species.
• These plants are discovered in tropical eastern Africa. It is characterized by small perennial herbs having thick, hairy, ovate leaves that have long stems.

• The researchers successfully detect the Environmental DNA (eDNA) of Argentine Ant.
• This was identified in surface soil samples from Kobe Port Island and Kyoto’s Fushimi district.
• This ant’s native is considered northern Argentina, Paraguay, Uruguay, Bolivia, and southern Brazil.
• Also, It is considered an invasive species, established across many Mediterranean climate areas.

Railway ordered to Suspension of wrestler Sushil Kumar:
