China launches a new satellite:
• China launched a new satellite called “Gaofen-11 03” from the Taiyuan Satellite Launch Centre, on November 20, 2021.
• Taiyuan Satellite Launch Centre is situated in the northern province of Shanxi.
சீனா புதிய செயற்கைக்கோளை விண்ணில் செலுத்தியது:
• நவம்பர் 20, 2021 அன்று தையுவான் செயற்கைக்கோள் ஏவுதல் மையத்தில் இருந்து “Gaofen-11 03” என்ற புதிய செயற்கைக்கோளை சீனா விண்ணில் செலுத்தியது.
• தையுவான் செயற்கைக்கோள் ஏவுதளம் ஷாங்க்சியின் வடக்கு மாகாணத்தில் அமைந்துள்ளது.
New tree species named after a tribe:
• A group of scientists has detecting a new plant species from the forest area of Idamalakkudy colony in Idukki, where Muthuvar tribal community resides.
• Also, Scientists including from University of Kerala and Jawaharlal Nehru Tropical Botanical Garden and Research Institute (TBGRI), has identified the plant.

Amazon Deforestation reached 15 years high:
• According to the National Institute for Space Research’s Prodes monitoring system, the area deforested in Amazon Forest of Brazil has reached a 15-year high.
• There was a moved up of 22 per cent as compared to year 2020.

NCRA astronomers identified “Main-sequence Radio Pulse’ emitters”:
• Astronomers from Pune-based National centre for Radio Astrophysics (NCRA) have identified eight stars which belong to a rare class named Main-sequence Radio Pulse emitters or MRPs.
• Using ‘Giant Metre-wave Radio Telescope (GMRT)’ located in Pune, MRPs were discovered.

Tamil Nadu sets up FinTech Governing Council:
• Government of Tamil Nadu has composed a FinTech Governing Council in a bid to become a global fintech hub.
• Under the chairmanship of Industries Minister Thangam Thennarasu, FinTech Governing Council was set up.
