1st woman to head UNCTAD is Rebecca Grynspan:
• Rebecca Grynspan selected to head the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) and appointed by the UN General Assembly (UNGA).
• Also, She is an economist from Costa Rica.
• Also, She will be considered the first woman and Central American to lead the Geneva-based organization, UNCTAD.

Border Roads Organisation:
• Recently, Defence Minister, Rajnath Singh started two Centres of Excellence (CoE) launched by the Border Roads Organisation (BRO) at Seema Sadak Bhawan in New Delhi.
• CoEs have been launched because to achieve excellence in road safety and to foster development in the construction of roads, airfields, tunnels, and bridges.

New framework for broadcasting & cable services released by TRAI:
• Recently, the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) has initiated a new framework for broadcasting and cable services by revising the interconnection regulations of 2017.
• The Regulation of 2017 gives a structure for technical compliance of conditional access system (CAS) and subscriber management system (SMS) in the broadcasting and cable sector.

Flipkart: ‘Medicines from the Sky’ project
• Recently, Flipkart has coordinated with the Telangana government to lead the “Medicines from the Sky” project.
• The project has been mainly tasked with the development and execution of drone deliveries of medical supplies to remote areas under the project.
• Drone delivery of supplies will be provided with technologies like geo-mapping, a trace of location and routing of shipments.
