• This day is observed to increase awareness about arthritis.

River Ranching Programme:
• On October 8, 2021, River Ranching Program was initiated by Minister for Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairying, Parshottam Rupala.
• Also, this Program is considered a part of the ‘Pradhan Mantri Matsya Sampada Yojana (PMMSY) scheme.

The Doon Drone Mela:
• Union Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya M. Scindia was launched the Doon Drone Mela 2021 in Dehradun, Uttarakhand.
• Minister initiated the event with a paragliding demonstration and communicate with the drone companies to show clearly their prototypes at the Doon Drone Mela.

• On 2018, 7th December, KV Subramanian took over the command of Chief Economic Adviser.

• On 11 October, National Award-winning actor Nedumudi Venu has passed away at the age of 73 at a private hospital in Thiruvananthapuram.
• On 22 May 1948, Nedumudi Venu was born in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, India.

• அக்டோபர் 11 அன்று, தேசிய விருது பெற்ற நடிகர் நெடுமுடி வேணு தனது 73 வது வயதில் திருவனந்தபுரத்தில் உள்ள ஒரு தனியார் மருத்துவமனையில் காலமானார்.
• 22 மே 1948 இல், நெடுமுடி வேணு இந்தியாவின் கேரளாவின் திருவனந்தபுரத்தில் பிறந்தார்.
