Global Task Forces on Pandemic Response:
• Recently, The Global Task Force on Pandemic has said that it is co-ordinate working with US-India Strategic Partnership Forum and US-India Business Council to take three immediate actions.
• Also, forty top American companies co-ordinate to form the Global Task Force on Pandemic Response.
• The force is used to provide COVID-19 emergency relief material to India.

• அண்மையில்,தொற்றுநோய்க்கான உலகளாவிய பணிக்குழு மூன்று உடனடி நடவடிக்கைகளை எடுக்க அமெரிக்க-இந்தியா மூலோபாய கூட்டு மன்றம் மற்றும் அமெரிக்க-இந்தியா வர்த்தக கவுன்சில் ஆகியவற்றுடன் இணைந்து செயல்படுவதாகக் கூறியுள்ளது.

• China launched the Long March 5B rocket On April 28, 2021. The rocket fell into the Indian Ocean and near the Maldives.
• The remaining part of the Chinese rocket has crashed into the Indian Ocean. It is said to have been speed towards the earth.
• In a wildly uncontrolled manner, Hurtling is moving at a high speed.

2DG- DRDO’s Anti-Covid Drug:
• Recently, The Drugs Controller General of India has approved an oral drug to treat COVID-19 called the 2-DG.
• The 2-DG was made by the Defence Research Development Organisation only for Emergency Use.
• 2-DG is considered 2-Deoxy – D – Glucose. It was created in collaboration with Dr Reddy’s Laboratories.

• 2-டிஜி 2-டியோக்ஸி – டி – குளுக்கோஸ் என்று கருதப்படுகிறது. இது டாக்டர் ரெட்டியின் ஆய்வகங்களுடன் இணைந்து உருவாக்கப்பட்டது.
RBI conduct first SLTRO for small finance banks:
• Recently, The Reserve Bank of India has said that it is to perform the first Special Long Term Repo Operation (SLTRO) of Rs 10,000 crores for Small Finance Banks.
• This is considered highly beneficial for the banks as they get long-term funds at lower rates. This will also reduce the interest for borrowers.
சிறிய நிதி வங்கிகளுக்கு ரிசர்வ் வங்கி இன் முதல் எஸ்.எல்.டி.ஆர்.ஓ.:
• அண்மையில், இந்திய ரிசர்வ் வங்கி சிறு நிதி வங்கிகளுக்காக ரூ .10,000 கோடியின் முதல் சிறப்பு நீண்ட கால ரெப்போ செயல்பாட்டை (எஸ்.எல்.டி.ஆர்.ஓ) செய்ய இருப்பதாக கூறியுள்ளது.
• குறைந்த கட்டணத்தில் நீண்ட கால நிதியைப் பெறுவதால் இது வங்கிகளுக்கு மிகவும் நன்மை பயக்கும் என்று கருதப்படுகிறது. இது கடன் வாங்குபவர்களுக்கான வட்டியையும் குறைக்கும்.
