First Anti-Malarial Vaccine:
• On 6 October, The World Health Organization approved the first anti-malarial vaccine.
• This vaccine does crucially reduce life-threatening critical Malaria.

PM-CARES: Children Scheme
• On 7 October, a detailed guidelines were released for PM CARES for Children Scheme” by the Women and Child Development Ministry.
• This scheme was initiated to give support for children who lost both their parents amid the Covid-19 pandemic.

Nobel Prize 2021: Literature
• Abdulrazak Gurnah, the Tanzanian novelist, has won the Nobel Prize for Literature 2021.
• He worked as a Professor of English and Postcolonial Literatures at the University of Kent, Canterbury. Also, he has published ten novels and many short stories.

• 2021 இலக்கியத்திற்கான நோபல் பரிசை தான்சானியா நாவலாசிரியர் அப்துல்ரசாக் குர்னா வென்றுள்ளார்.
• அவர், கென்டர்பரி, பல்கலைக்கழகத்தில் ஆங்கிலம் மற்றும் பிந்தைய காலனித்துவ இலக்கியப் பேராசிரியராகப் பணியாற்றினார். அவர் பத்து நாவல்களையும் பல சிறுகதைகளையும் வெளியிட்டுள்ளார்.

• After 60 years after nationalized, Tata Group, the creator of Air India, claimed it back.
