Shivangi became The First Naval Woman Pilot in India

Shivangi is India’s first woman navy pilot. Shivangi, who grew up in Muzaffarpur in India’s eastern Bihar state, said she had wanted to become a pilot since she was a young girl. She joined operational duties at the Kochi naval base on 2 December 2019. Shivangi received the qualification wings from Vice Admiral AK Chawla, the chief of Southern Naval Command. She will fly the Naval Dornier.

MSME sector has contributed over 29 percent of GDP

03 December 2019 TNPSC Current Affairs: Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises reported that Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises sector has contributed over 29% of Gross domestic product (GDP) and over 49% of Indian exports. The report was presented by the Union MSME Minister Nitin Gadkari and the (MoS)Minister of the state is Pratab Chandra Sarangi.

Labour Ministry celebrated Pension Week

The Labour Ministry is celebrating pension week from Saturday in order to drive enrolments under Pradhan Mantri Shram Yogi Maan-Dhan (PMSYM) and National Pension Scheme for traders and self-employed persons… After the person’s death, the spouse will get 50% of the pension. Ministry of Labour and Employment has designated to celebrate 30 November 2019 – 6 December 2019 as the Pension Week. The week focuses on enrolments under Pradhan Mantri Shram Yogi Maandhan (PM-SYM) and National Pension Scheme for Traders and Self-Employed Persons (NPS-Traders).
