26th August is Women’s Equality Day:
• Every year on 26th August, Women’s Equality Day is celebrated.
• This day is celebrate to honor the adoption of the 19th Amendment to the US Constitution in the year 1920.
• Also, this amendment allowed all ladies the right to vote in the USA.

• 1920 ஆம் ஆண்டில் அமெரிக்க அரசியலமைப்பின் 19 வது திருத்தத்தை ஏற்றுக்கொண்டதற்காக இந்த நாள் கொண்டாடப்படுகிறது.

• On August 26, 2021, The NITI Aayog and a US-based tech giant, Cisco initiated the next segment of the Women Entrepreneurship Platform (WEP).

Indian Coast Guard Ship Vigraha:
• Indian Coast Guard (ICG) Ship Vigraha is considered the seventh in the collection of Offshore Patrol Vessels.

E-Shram Portal:
• Recently, The Ministry of Labor and Employment has initiated e-Shram Portal to connect Unorganized Workers with social security schemes being carried out by the Central and State Governments.
• Bhupender Yadav, Minister for Labor and Employment, has initiated this portal where 38 crore Unorganized Workers can register themselves and in access benefit from various social security schemes.

First Green Hydrogen:India
• At Mathura refinery, Indian Oil will built India’s first Green Hydrogen Plant.
• Also, this plant will be an addition in order to increase the existing crude oil refining capability by using 25 million tonnes per annum.
