• A series of Azadi Amrut Chai has initiated by Andrew Yule and Co Ltd, a Central Public Sector Enterprise in the Tea Sector, Ministry of Heavy Industries.
• These are in Orthodox, Elaichi, Adrak and Masala flavours to honor the 75th year of India’s Independence and celebrate Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav.

Indian Navys First Training Squadron to View Sri Lanka:
• From 24 – 28 Oct, The 1st Training Squadron is on a 4-day visit to Sri Lanka as part of their Overseas Deployment for the 100th and 101st Integrated Officers Training Course.
• This deployment is focused to broaden the horizons of young officers and officer-trainees by exposing them to the socio-political and maritime facets of different countries in the Indian Ocean Region.

• On 25 October, Prime Minister will initiated Pradhan Mantri Atmanirbhar Swasth Bharat Yojana in Uttar Pradesh.
• PMASBY is considered one of the largest pan-India schemes for strengthening healthcare infrastructure across the country.

PM to take part in 16th G-20 Summit and World Leaders Summit of COP-26:
• From 29 October to 2 November, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will travel to Rome and Glasgow to attend the 16th G-20 Summit and the World Leaders’ Summit of COP-26.
• From 30th and 31st October, Modi will participate in the 16th G-20 Summit in Rome, the 8th G-20 Summit that the prime minister will be attending at the invitation of Prime Minister of Italy, Mario Draghi.
