16th June is International Family Remittances Day:
• The International Day of Family Remittances (IDFR) was initiated by the United Nations General Assembly and is celebrated on 16 June.
• Also, this day highlights the resilience of migrant workers in the face of financial insecurities, natural and climate-related failures, and a global pandemic.

• சர்வதேச குடும்ப பணம் அனுப்புதல் நாள் (ஐ.டி.எஃப்.ஆர்) ஐக்கிய நாடுகள் சபையின் பொதுச் சபையால் தொடங்கப்பட்டது மற்றும் ஜூன் 16 அன்று கொண்டாடப்படுகிறது.

Facebook launched a new initiative:
• Recently, Facebook has launched a new initiative ‘Report it, don’t share it!’
• This initiative encourages humans to report child abuse content on their systems and not to share it.
• The initiative is in co-ordinate with civil society establishments like Aarambh India Initiative, Cyber Peace Foundation, and Arpan.

UNSC elected Non – Permanent Members:
• For the 2022-23 term, UN Security Council elected Albania, Brazil, Gabon, Ghana, and UAE as non-permanent participants.
• All 5 countries, elected not opposed, will initiate their time period from 1 January 2022.
• From 1 January 2021, India, Ireland, Mexico, and Norway had started the term as non-permanent individuals of the UN Security Council.

• Federal Bank has developed its strategic coordination with Oracle and Infosys, to give a superior consumer journey thru Oracle CX (Customer Experience) platform.
• This collaboration will mainly focus on developing a complete integrated Customer Relationship Management (CRM).

India situated position 14th in World Giving Index:
• India has been situated position at the 14th spot amongst 114 countries in the World Giving Index 2021, by the Charities Aid Foundation (CAF).
• This rank is moved up from its 10-year world rank of eighty-two.
• The World Giving Index ranking has been topped first by Indonesia, followed by way of Kenya, Nigeria, Myanmar, and Australia in the top five respectively.

Gold Jewellery Mandatory Hallmarking:
• On June 16, Mandatory signs for gold jewellery took effect.
• Gold jewellery Mandatory hallmarking was scheduled to begin on January 15, 2020, but was press back to June 1, 2021, in order to clear out old stock of un hallmarked jewellery.
