Africa Food Prize 2021:
• Hyderabad organization ICRISAT (International Crops Research Institute for the Semi-Arid Tropics) has been granted the Africa Food Prize for 2021 for developing meals security in sub-Saharan Africa.
• ICRISAT is known as a non-profit, non-political public worldwide research organization.

Millet Mission:
• Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel has announced the initiative of ‘Millet Mission’, which aims to provide appropriate charge prices to farmers for minor cereal crops.
• One main advantage under the Millet Mission to farmers will consist of input help for millet, procurement arrangements, and resource farmers in the processing of plants and ensure that the farmers get the advantage of the information of experts.
