Faith and Culture New Department in Assam:
• Recently, The Assam Cabinet has introduced a new independent department.
• This department initiated to guard and retain the “faith, lifestyle and traditions of tribes and indigenous communities” of the state.
நம்பிக்கை மற்றும் கலாச்சாரம் அசாமில் புதிய துறை:
• சமீபத்தில், அசாம் அமைச்சரவை ஒரு புதிய சுயாதீன துறையை அறிமுகப்படுத்தியது.

SAMVEDAN 2021:
• IIT Madras Pravartak Technologies Foundation and Sony India Software Centre Pvt Ltd have combined to conduct a national-level hackathon called ‘SAMVEDAN 2021 – Sensing Solutions for Bharat’.
• This hackathon, motivate the basis of ambitions to encourage citizens to use IoT Sensor Board in order to remedy India-specific issues of societal interest.

• ஐ.ஐ.டி மெட்ராஸ் பிரவர்தக் டெக்னாலஜிஸ் பவுண்டேஷன் மற்றும் சோனி இந்தியா சாப்ட்வேர் சென்டர் பிரைவேட் லிமிடெட் இணைந்து ‘சாம்வேடன் 2021 – பாரதத்திற்கான உணர்திறன் தீர்வுகள்’ என்ற தேசிய அளவிலான ஹேக்கத்தானை நடத்தின.
• இந்த ஹேக்கத்தான், சமூக நலன்களின் இந்தியா-குறிப்பிட்ட பிரச்சினைகளுக்கு தீர்வு காண ஐஓடி சென்சார் வாரியத்தைப் பயன்படுத்த குடிமக்களை ஊக்குவிப்பதற்கான லட்சியங்களின் அடிப்படையை ஊக்குவிக்கிறது.
DPE is now going to Under Finance Ministry:
• The Government of India has decided to move the Department of Public Enterprises (DPE) beneath the finance ministry.
• Before, DPE was underneath the Ministry of Heavy Industries and Public Enterprises.
• Although, it has been added beneath the finance minister in a bid to simple coordination involving future disinvestment plans.

First Cryptogamic Garden of India:
• With around 50 different species grown, India’s first cryptogamic garden has been opened in the Deoband area of Dehradun in Uttarakhand.
• The garden is situated at the height of 9,000 feet and unfolds over three acres.
• Also, situated in the district’s Chakrata town, the backyard was opened through social activist Anoop Nautiyal.

Cabinet Reshuffle:
• The Union Cabinet led through Prime Minister Narendra Modi, has raised its number of the council of ministers.
• Also, the names in the cupboard reshuffled consist of countless new entrants and existing ministers who will be rearranged.
• On 7 July 2021, the swearing-in ceremony of forty-three ministers was held at the Rashtrapati Bhavan.
