The Technique to Improve Performance of Lithium-Ion Batteries:
- Recently, Researchers at IIT Guwahati have developed a technology to upgrade the performance of rechargeable lithium-ion batteries that can power most of the portable devices in use today.
- These batteries can be used to store solar and wind energy, which means that with their use, they may even live in a fuel-free society.
- These batteries are mostly used in mobile phones, smartphones, tablets, laptops and power banks, and other devices.

- Aryabhatta Research Institute Scientists have found a new galaxy that emits gamma rays. The galaxy has been named Narrow Line Seyfert 1 (NLS1).

- It has 31 billion light-years away from the earth. This galaxy is located at a high redshift.
