8th September is International Literacy Day:
• On 8th September each and every year, International Literacy Day is celebrated globally.
• The celebration of this day spread awareness about the importance of literacy for individuals, communities, and societies and also the want for raised efforts closer to extra literate societies.
செப்டம்பர் 8 சர்வதேச எழுத்தறிவு தினம்:
• ஒவ்வொரு ஆண்டும் செப்டம்பர் 8 அன்று, சர்வதேச எழுத்தறிவு தினம் உலகளவில் கொண்டாடப்படுகிறது.
• இந்த நாள் கொண்டாட்டம் தனிநபர்கள், சமூகங்கள் மற்றும் சமூகங்களுக்கான கல்வியறிவின் முக்கியத்துவத்தைப் பற்றிய விழிப்புணர்வை பரப்பியது மேலும் கூடுதல் கல்வியறிவுள்ள சமுதாயங்களுக்கு அதிக முயற்சிகள் தேவை.
National Teachers Award:
• National Teachers’ Award 2021 was given by President Ram Nath Kovind, September 5, 2021.
• Also, President Kovind gave the awards to forty-four finest teachers in the country for their faithful contribution.

• தேசிய ஆசிரியர் விருது 2021 செப்டம்பர் 5, 2021 அன்று ஜனாதிபதி ராம்நாத் கோவிந்தால் வழங்கப்பட்டது.

National Livestock Mission:
• The Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairying Minister initiated the National Livestock Mission portal.

• The Chief Minister of Manipur N Biren Singh initiated an electronic Inner Line Permit (ILP) counters.
• Under this portal, an individual from outside the state can also apply online for Inner Line Permit, after onsite verification to get the permit from centers.

ASER Report: Karnataka
• The Annual Status of Education Report (ASER) drafted in Karnataka only in March 2021.
• Also, this year found that the level of learning in reading and numeracy has decreased significantly, especially in primary school classes.
• According to the current report, first examined 18,385 children between the age of 5 and sixteen from 13,365 households throughout 24 districts.
