• The Union Agriculture Minister has been initiated an exclusive window on the GeM portal for the marketing of bamboo goods.

• Recently, The Indian Institute of Technology Madras’ Centre for Memory Studies has conducted Asia’s first International Memory Studies Workshop.
• Through a virtual event at IIT Madras, the launch of the INMS will take location in mid-June 2021.

Cabinet Approved MoC between India-Japan on Urban Development:
• Recently, The Union Cabinet approved an MoC (memorandum of cooperation) between India and Japan for the subject of sustainable city development.
• This agreement will improve the technical cooperation in Urban Planning, Smart Cities Development, inexpensive Housing (including rental housing), Flood Management, Sewerage and Waste Water Management, etc.

SpaceX launched 22nd Resupply Services Mission:
• SpaceX has initiated its 22nd resupply services mission known as SpaceX CRS 22, by using the cargo Dragon two capsule, to the International Space station (ISS).
• This is considered the second mission below the new CRS contract of SpaceX with NASA and the fifth tablet in the final 12 months, which SpaceX sent to ISS.
