Madhya Pradesh Government initiate Ankur Scheme:
• In Madhya Pradesh, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan launched a program called “Ankur”, this was under which citizens who plant trees during the monsoon will be rewarded.
• Also, the Citizens participating in this program will receive a Pranvayu award to make sure public participation in the program.

• CSIR-National Chemical Laboratory (CSIR-NCL), Pune has initiated a new technique called SWASTIK for disinfecting water by using natural oils.
