• The United Nations has observed November 2 as the International Day to End Impunity for Crimes against Journalists.
• This day shows up the poor conviction rate for violent crimes against journalists and media workers around the world, also it is believed to be one in every ten instances.

• The Jammu and Kashmir team has won the First Place for the World Deaf Judo Championship.

In Russia Indian Navy Stealth Frigate Tushil Launched:
• At the Yantar Shipyard in Russia, The Indian Navy Frigate P1135.6 class was launched.
• Also, this ship was created as part of an Inter-Governmental Agreement (IGA) signed in 2016 between India and Russia for the building of four more P1135.6 class ships for the Indian Navy.
