‘Mitra Shakti 21’ Exercise:
• From October 4 to October 15, 2021 at Combat Training School, Ampara in Sri Lanka, 8th Edition of the “India Sri Lanka bilateral joint Exercise” called Mitra Shakti will be held.
• In this joint exercise, all arms contingent of 120 personnel from the Indian Army will participate by the side with the battalion of the Sri Lankan Army.
‘மித்ரா சக்தி 21’ உடற்பயிற்சி:
• அக்டோபர் 4 முதல் அக்டோபர் 15, 2021 வரை, இலங்கையின் அம்பாறையில் உள்ள போர் பயிற்சி பள்ளியில், “இந்தியா இலங்கை இருதரப்பு கூட்டுப் பயிற்சியின்” 8 வது பதிப்பான மித்ரா சக்தி நடைபெறும்.
• இந்த கூட்டுப் பயிற்சியில், இந்திய இராணுவத்தைச் சேர்ந்த 120 வீரர்களைக் கொண்ட அனைத்து ஆயுதக் குழுவும் இலங்கை இராணுவத்தின் பட்டாலியனுடன் பங்கேற்கின்றன.
RBI’s new auto Debit Rules:
• On October 1, 2021, The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has mandated new auto-debit rules in order to increase the safety and security of card transactions.
• Under this new directives, banks will have to notify the customers in advance regarding the recurring payments due.
• Also, the transactions will not be automatic but will be done after customer has authenticated it.

• அக்டோபர் 1, 2021 அன்று, ரிசர்வ் வங்கி (RBI) அட்டை பரிவர்த்தனைகளின் பாதுகாப்பு மற்றும் பாதுகாப்பை அதிகரிக்க புதிய ஆட்டோ-டெபிட் விதிகளை கட்டாயமாக்கியது.

New drug to treat COVID-19:
• Pharmaceutical company “Merck and Ridgeback Biotherapeutics” has released the early results of Phase-3 trials of its anti-viral drug called molnupiravir, on October 1, 2021.
• According to the results, Molnupiravir medicine has reduced the chances of hospitalisation by half among COVID-19 patients with mild or average symptoms.
COVID-19 க்கு சிகிச்சையளிக்க புதிய மருந்து:
• மருந்து நிறுவனமான “மெர்க் அண்ட் ரிட்ஜ்பேக் பயோதெரபியூடிக்ஸ்” அக்டோபர் 1, 2021 அன்று மோல்னுபிரவீர் எனப்படும் அதன் வைரஸ் எதிர்ப்பு மருந்தின் கட்டம் -3 சோதனைகளின் ஆரம்ப முடிவுகளை வெளியிட்டது.
• முடிவுகளின் படி, Molnupiravir மருந்து லேசான அல்லது சராசரி அறிகுறிகளைக் கொண்ட COVID-19 நோயாளிகளிடையே மருத்துவமனையில் சேர்க்கும் வாய்ப்பை பாதியாகக் குறைத்துள்ளது.

New Electricity Rules:
• Union Ministry of Power has released new Electricity rules called “Electricity Rules” in India, also put down the rights of power of consumers.
• These rules will authorize the consumers of electricity. Rules arise from the conviction that power systems exist to serve consumers and consumers have rights to get dependable services and quality electricity.
