• Each year on August 26 International Dog Day is determined.
• This day is observed to increase awareness about dog adoption and the importance of presenting danger zone puppies with a safe and loving environment.

• ஒவ்வொரு ஆண்டும் ஆகஸ்ட் 26 அன்று சர்வதேச நாய் தினம் தீர்மானிக்கப்படுகிறது.
• நாய் வளர்ப்பு பற்றிய விழிப்புணர்வை அதிகரிக்கவும், பாதுகாப்பான மற்றும் அன்பான சூழலுடன் ஆபத்து மண்டல நாய்க்குட்டிகளை வளர்ப்பதன் முக்கியத்துவத்தை இந்த நாள் மூலம் கடைபிடிக்கப்படுகிறது.
LIC released Mobile App for agents:
• Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) has released a mobile app named “Ananda mobile app” for its agents and intermediaries in order to available the prospective customers.
• ANANDA is the abbreviation for Atma Nirbhar Agents New Business Digital Application.
எல்ஐசி முகவர்களுக்கான மொபைல் செயலியை வெளியிட்டது:

Ministry of civil aviation released Liberalized Drone Rules 2021:
• On August 26, 2021, Union ministry of civil aviation (MoCA) released the liberalized Drone Rules, 2021.
• Also, these liberalized rules will replace the previous unmanned aircraft system Rules 2021, which was also released on March 12, 2021.

Finance Minister launches EASE 4.0:
• For the financial year 2021-22, Nirmala Sitharaman, Union Minister of Finance and Corporate Affairs, has initiated the fourth edition of Public Sector Bank (PSB) Reforms Agenda called ‘EASE 4.0’.
• Also, it is considered a simplified, tech-enabled and collaborative banking.

INDIAsize Survey:
• Ministry of Textile and National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) has initiated an India size survey, in order to do away with the confusion of size.
• It has been named as INDIA size. On August 26, 2021, the survey was officially released.

• Militaries of China, Mongolia, Thailand and Pakistan are set to take part in a multinational peacekeeping exercise, which is considered as Shared destiny 2021.
• Also, this is considered the first multinational peacekeeping live exercise, involving four nations.
