• And this day was declared by UN General Assembly Resolution Global drowning prevention, on April 2021.

• உலக நீரில் மூழ்கும் தடுப்பு நாள் ஜூலை 25 அன்று கருதப்படுகிறது.

• Adani Group has joined the Indian Olympic Association (IOA) as a sponsor for the Indian contingent at the Tokyo Games.
• This sponsorship was announced by Secretary-General Rajiv Mehta of IOA, who is in Tokyo.

Technology Innovation Hub launched by IIT-K:
• Recently, the Indian Institute of Technology of Kanpur has introduced the first technology innovation hub to find solutions for anti-drones technologies, intrusion detection systems, block-chain, and cyber-physical systems.
• After an extremely thorough and application process there are 13 start-ups & 25 research and development principal investigators were selected.

Oilseeds and Oil Palm: National Mission
• The Government of India initiated the National Mission on 2014-15 Oilseeds and Oil Palm (NMOOP) with the goal of increasing the country’s oilseed production.
• India is one of the major oilseed growers and edible oil importers in the world economy.
• After the United States, China, and Brazil, India’s vegetable oil economy is the world’s fourth-largest economy.
