• The Tripura Government has initiated an online portal named Jagrut Tripura.
• This was mainly developed to help the people of the state available benefits from the various schemes that have been provided by the State as well as the Central Government.

INS Rajput Decommissioning:
• In the Indian Navy, INS Rajput was considered the first destroyer as well as the lead ship of the Rajput class.
• After 41 years of service by the Indian Navy, on 21 May 2021 INS Rajput has been decommissioned.

• India Meteorological Department has said that Cyclone Yaas is like to strengthen into a very severe cyclonic storm, week after cyclone Tauktae had its landfall on the western coast of India.
• On May 26, 2021, Cyclone Yaas is likely to affect the coastal parts of Odisha and West Bengal.

IMF Proposed USD 50 Billion Global Vaccination Plan:
• By the end of 2021, The IMF (International Monetary Fund) proposed a USD 50 billion global vaccination plan which will cover about 40 percent of the global population.
• By the first half of 2022, It also seeks to cover at least 60 percent of the population.
