Dr. Shakuntala Haraksingh has won World Food Prize:
• Dr. Shakuntala Haraksingh Thilsted, an Indian-born global nutrition expert, has won the most powerful 2021 World Food Award for her research in developing holistic, nutritionally sensitive aquaculture and food system methods.
• The World Food Award is considered the most important international honor and mainly aims to accept the achievements of individuals who promote human development by improving the quality, quantity, or supply of world food.
