Covid-19 Vaccines : Drone Delivery
• Recently, The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) and the Ministry of Civil Aviation (MoCA) have allowed the Telangana government conditional drone deployments for the delivery of experimental Covid-19 vaccines.
• The permission was allowed to use drones within the visual line of sight (VLOS) range.

Finalized Quality Standards for Four Spices:
• In the recent fifth session, the Codex Committee on Spices and Culinary Herbs (CCSCH) established and recommended quality requirements for four spices of cloves, oregano, basil, and ginger.

COVID: Public Buildings and Fire Safety
• In the last year, There have been fatal fires in hospital buildings, including those treating COVID-19 patients.
• According to the National Crime Records Bureau (NCRB), In 2019, 330 people were killed in fires in commercial buildings. There are 6,329 deaths in residential or dwelling buildings.

BCCI suspends IPL 2021 :
• Indefinitely, The Board of Control of Cricket (BCCI) has suspended the Indian Premier League (IPL) due to COVID-19.
• This decision was made after Balaji tested positive for COVID-19. Balaji is CSK’s bowling coach.
• So far twenty-nine games have been finished.
• Also, the T20 World Cup is to be shifted from India to UAE.
• Because if held in India none of the participants will be comfortable coming to India due to the third wave in the country and this is the main reason.

• COVID-19 காரணமாக இந்தியன் பிரீமியர் லீக்கை (ஐபிஎல்) காலவரையின்றி, கிரிக்கெட் கட்டுப்பாட்டு வாரியம் (பிசிசிஐ) இடைநிறுத்தியுள்ளது.
• COVID-19 க்கு பாலாஜி நேர்மறை சோதனை செய்த பின்னர் இந்த முடிவு எடுக்கப்பட்டது. சி.எஸ்.கே.வின் பந்துவீச்சு பயிற்சியாளராக பாலாஜி உள்ளார்.

Significant Economic Presence (SEP) principle:
• Recently, India has announced the Digital Tax threshold of two crore rupees and 300,00 users under the scheme of Significant Economic Presence principle.
• This threshold was notified only for non-resident technology firms such as Netflix, Facebook, Google, to pay tax in India.
• In the Finance Bill 2018-19, The principle was first introduced.

• Recently, The Democratic Republic of Congo has announced the end of the twelfth outbreak of Ebola.
• It had killed six people in the location of the eastern province of North Kivu.
