April 14th Day: Ambedkar Jayanti
- India celebrates Ambedkar Jayanti or Bhim Jayanti on April 14, Every year.
- This day is called Ambedkar Remembrance Day. Since 2015, April 14 is declared an official public holiday in India.
- Ambedkar was born on April 14th day of 1891.
- He struggled for equality throughout his lifetime. So, his birthday is also celebrated as “Equality Day”. India has placed a request to celebrate his birthday as International Equality Day to the United Nations.

- Recently, Union Minister Shri Piyush Goyal launched a platform called “eSanta” for marine products.
- The main theme of this platform is to empower aqua farmers.
- The farmers can sell their crops in eSanta portal.
- It is like a bridge between the buyers and the farmers.
- The eSanta portal also eliminates the necessity of middlemen completely.
- The portal is available in more languages such as English, Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Odiya, and Bengali.

The Raisina Dialogue:
- Recently, The Raisina Dialogue was organized by the Ministry of External Affairs and Observer Research Foundation. The dialogue was held under the following theme:
- viral World: Outbreaks, Outliers, Out of Control
- Prime Minister Narendra Modi speaks to the dialogue virtually.
- This is an annual Geo-political event. It is named followed Raisina Hill where the seat of the Government of India is located. It is considered a conference on geoeconomics and Geopolitics.
- It was designed on the lines of Shangri-La-Dialogue.
- In 2016, It was held for the first time.

- The ITCN programme is created to build capacities of young professionals and city officials to develop young children and family-friendly neighbourhoods in the country.

- This facility will be used in meeting the short-term liquidity requirement in Public Lending Institutions.

- This app will be providing real-time trade policy updates, notifications, apps, status alerts, and real-time data.
