World Bank Signs Loan Agreement to Enhance Groundwater Management

World Bank and the India‘s government signed loan agreement to enhance the groundwater management on 17th February 2020.  The main goal of the loan agreement is to support the national programme to arrest the draining groundwater level and make stronger groundwater institution in India.

 Nitin Gadkari to represent India at road safety conference in Stockholm

Nitin Gadkari – The union minister for Road Transport and MSMEs is representing India at road safety conference for completing Global Goals 2030 in Stockholm, Sweden. The road safety conference is planned in active collaboration with the World Bank, WHO (World Health Organization) and other agencies who intention to strengthen the proficiency of several institutions.

Prime Minister Modi Initiated COP-13 on Conversation of Migratory Species of Wild Animals

The 13th Conference of Parties (COP-13) has inaugurated by PM Modi at Gandhinagar on 17th Feb. The 13th edition is being hosted in India. The conference will be conducted from Feb 17 to Feb 22. The main theme of this COP-13 CMS is “Migratory species connect the planet and we welcome them home”. Thr idea of the CMS COP 13 logo was stimulated by kolam, It’s a traditional art of southern India.

J&K, Ladakh to come under jurisdiction of CAT soon

Minister of State in the Prime Minister’s Office, Jitendra Singh has said that Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh will soon be covered by the Central Administrative Tribunal (CAT). Addressing the annual conference of the CAT in New Delhi, The CAT tribunal which will be set up will have jurisdiction to handle disputes and other issues related to the UT services.

73rd Raising Day celebrated by Delhi Police

On 16th Feb 2020 Raising day has celebrated by the Delhi Police. The Raising day celebration was controlled over by the Union Home Minister Shri Amit Shah. Lieutenant Governor of Delhi Shri Anil Baijal and the Lieutenant Governor of Puducherry Smt. Kiran Bedi participated in the occasion. Home Minister Amit Shah presented medals to Delhi Police Officers for their exceptional service.

Soil health card Scheme finishes 5 years as on 19 February

Soil health card scheme was launched by PM Modi on 19 February 2015.Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare reported that so far 6954 villages have been identified by the States/UTs in which against the target of 26.83 lakh samples, 20.18 lakh samples have been collected, 14.65 lakh samples have been analyzed and 13.54 lakh cards have been distributed to farmers. The Soil health card scheme completes 5 years on 19 February 2019.
