Himachal Day on April 15:
- Every year, the state of Himachal Pradesh celebrating Himachal Day on April 15. This day is celebrated to honor the creation of Himachal Pradesh.
- On April 15, 1948, Himachal Pradesh was established as the province to be administered Chief Commissioner. On January 25, 1950, it was made a “C” category state.

MOU Signed between The Agricultural Ministry Microsoft for farmer welfare:
- Recently, The Agricultural Ministry of India has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Microsoft to implement a pilot project for farmer welfare.
- This project will focus on technology boosted agriculture.
- It will also provide smart agricultural techniques to the farmers especially during the post-harvest season.
- The project is to be started in hundred villages of six states.
உழவர் நலனுக்காக வேளாண் அமைச்சக மைக்ரோசாப்ட் இடையே புரிந்துணர்வு ஒப்பந்தம்:
• உழவர் நலனுக்கான ஒரு பைலட் திட்டத்தை செயல்படுத்த மைக்ரோசாப்ட் நிறுவனத்துடன் புரிந்துணர்வு ஒப்பந்தத்தில் இந்திய வேளாண் அமைச்சகம் சமீபத்தில் கையெழுத்திட்டது.
• இந்த திட்டம் விவசாயத்தை மேம்படுத்தும் தொழில்நுட்பத்தில் கவனம் செலுத்தும்.

EFuel:
- Porsche has joined with Siemens Energy to produce eFuel by 2022. The project of eFuel manufacture is called the Haru Oni project.
- It is located in Chile due to its windy climate. This joint project aims to produce 130,000 litres of eFuel by 2022. Later this is to be slowly increased to 550 million by 2026.
- eFuel is a complexible hydrocarbon.
- The water is separated into hydrogen and oxygen using wind-generated electricity.
- The hydrogen is then combined with the carbon dioxide filtered from the air to form the methanol.
- This methanol is then converted into gasoline using ExxonMobil licensed technology.

• போர்ஸ் சீமென்ஸ் எனர்ஜியுடன் இணைந்து 2022 க்குள் மின் எரிபொருளை உற்பத்தி செய்துள்ளார். மின் எரிபொருள் உற்பத்தியின் திட்டம் ஹரு ஓனி திட்டம் என்று அழைக்கப்படுகிறது.

Deadly algae :
- The Deadly algae have killed more than 4,000 tonnes of Salmon in Chile. The algal bloom in the water reduced the amount of oxygen.
- This causes difficulty in breathing for the salmon fishes.
- According to this issue, More than eighteen salmon fish farms that produce 26% of the world’s salmon have been affected.

Climate Change law for financial firms: New Zealand
• Recently, New Zealand introduced a bill on Climate Change for financial firms. The bill is introduced for the first time in the world.
• New Zealand has a target to fix 2050 as the deadline to become carbon neutral.
• It will require the insurers, banks, and investment managers to report the impression of their funding on the impact of climate change.
• Also, it will force the financial firms to evaluate the companies they are lending in terms of environmental effects.

• The World Health Organisation, United Nations Environment Programme, and the World Organisation for Animal Health laid down fresh information to reduce the risk of transmission of zoonotic pathogens to humans in the food production.
• The guidelines are Suspension of trade in live caught wild animals of mammalian species for food.
• To lock down food markets that sell wild animals of mammalian species.
• To arrange the system for strengthened the animal health surveillance systems.

MANAS Application:
• Recently, The Principal Scientific Advisor to the Government of India has launched a mobile application to promote the mental wellbeing of the people of India. It is known as MANAS App.
• MANAS means Mental Health and Normalcy Augmentation System.
• It is considered as a comprehensive and national digital wellbeing platform.
• The MANAS integrates indigenous tools developed and researched by the various national bodies and the research institutions.
