10th August is World Biofuel Day:
• Each and every year, on August 10, World Biofuel Day is celebrated.
• This day is mainly celebrated to raise consciousness about the importance of non-fossil fuels as a choice to conventional fossil fuels and attention the various efforts made by Government in the biofuel sector.
ஆகஸ்ட் 10 உலக உயிரி எரிபொருள் தினம்:
• ஒவ்வொரு ஆண்டும், ஆகஸ்ட் 10 அன்று, உலக உயிரி எரிபொருள் தினம் கொண்டாடப்படுகிறது.
• இந்த நாள் முக்கியமாக புதைபடிவ எரிபொருட்களின் முக்கியத்துவத்தைப் பற்றிய விழிப்புணர்வை ஏற்படுத்தும் வகையில் பாரம்பரிய புதைபடிவ எரிபொருட்களின் தேர்வாகவும், உயிரி எரிபொருள் துறையில் அரசு மேற்கொண்ட பல்வேறு முயற்சிகளின் கவனமாகவும் கருதப்படுகிறது.

• ஒவ்வொரு ஆண்டும், ஜப்பான் ஆகஸ்ட் 9 ஆம் தேதி நாகசாகி தினமாக கொண்டாடுகிறது.
• ஆகஸ்ட் 9, 1945 அன்று, அமெரிக்கா ஜப்பானின் நாகசாகி மீது அணுகுண்டை வீசி தாக்கியது.
Gold Medal for India:
• At Tokyo Olympics, Neeraj Chopra has won a Gold medal for India in the javelin throw tournament.
• This medal is considered India’s seventh medal at Tokyo 2020 and also India’s most significant medal at a single version.

• On 9th August each year, United Nations celebrates the International Day of the World’s Indigenous Peoples.
• This day was celebrated using the main theme for 2021 is leaving no one behind: Indigenous peoples and the call for a new social contract.
ஆகஸ்ட் 9 உலக பழங்குடி மக்களின் சர்வதேச தினம்:
• ஒவ்வொரு ஆண்டும் ஆகஸ்ட் 9 அன்று, ஐக்கிய நாடுகள் சபை உலக பழங்குடி மக்களின் சர்வதேச தினத்தை கொண்டாடுகிறது.
• 2021 க்கான முக்கிய கருப்பொருளைப் பயன்படுத்தி இந்த நாள் கொண்டாடப்பட்டது, “யாரையும் விட்டுவிடாதீர்கள்: பழங்குடி மக்கள் மற்றும் ஒரு புதிய சமூக ஒப்பந்தத்திற்கான அழைப்பு”.
